From diary: “Bridge” seems to be a
recurring word in the past couple of days.
In a poster at a bus stop advertising a new cop series called “The
Bridge” on CTV, starring Aaron Douglas, who played Galen on Battlestar Galactica. Several other instances. A bridge collapse
shown on the news. Watching the Star Trek episode “Assignment Earth” last
night, Gary Seven is crawling across a beam to reach the rocket he intends to
disable – the beam is essentially a bridge.
On the title of books walking through WBB this afternoon. One placed right next to Eliot Perlman’s
“Seven Types of Ambiguity”.
Also:
Feb. 24 – after a dream about A----, I google him and find an
article from 2000 with a picture of him and his daughter, captioned: “A---- shown with his daughter Bridget..”

Then this morning, Fr. X---- sends an
updated parish listing. I have been
wondering about the name of a young woman of east Indian origin who seems
friendly to me and knows my name. He
mentioned in his e-mail that our next theology intern is named N----
Bridgemohan. She, presumably, is the
young woman in question. (And I have
visual confirmation on the internet of this, as she has been involved with
youth activities with the Episcopal Church.
An unusual name, with a "bridge" in it...

Last night, when Ellen Marie showed up at Chris’ (making four of us)
Chris said: “Enough for a round of bridge,
anyway.”
